Reduce capex, opex, and emissions

The OCS-H horizontal clamp connection system’s ease of installation maximizes efficiency, minimizes carbon footprint, and reduces total cost of ownership. Suitable for 4- to 32-in nominal pipe size (NPS), the OCS-H system features

  • a compact design, which reduces hub-to-hub distance as well as subsea structure size and weight, providing a route to further emissions savings through embodied carbon reduction
  • minimal tie-in tooling, requiring only an ROV-operated torque tool and pull-in tool
  • ROV fly-to-place tooling that enables use of smaller vessels for installation and intervention operations and eliminates use of downlines
  • proprietary gasket with two metal-to-metal seals, providing both primary and secondary barriers to withstand HPHT conditions and deliver reliable sealing
  • wet-parking capability of jumper for host structure retrieval
  • modular design for independent retrieval of components that can be reused across multiple connections
  • backseat-testing capability.

Accelerate installation time

The OCS-H horizontal clamp connection system is smaller and lighter than conventional systems, making it faster to install with minimal operational sequences, improving efficiency and reducing installation vessel emissions. It has a high structural capacity, capable of accommodating a wide range of applications, and has undergone an extensive qualification and verification testing program.

Configurations are available for monobore, multibore, rigid, flexible, and umbilical termination applications.
